Our papers were submitted to the judge today. Unfortunately our lawyer and the representatives from the court were unable to find Emily's birth mom after searching 3 villages. Apparently she gave a false name and address when she entered the hospital to have Emily (a common practice for moms who don't want to be found). Tatyana says we might know something tomorrow (Thursday!) about when I can travel to bring Emily home.
Kelly is on her way to get her 14 year old daughter this weekend, and Alicia and I should know something about travel in the next few days.
We are hopeful.
