Hey everyone-
Thanks for keeping up with the blog. It's been so encouraging to hear your responses to everything we've been going through.
Our spirits are up- it's Christmas time! We have so much to be thankful for- Jesus's birth, great friends and family to celebrate with, and hope for the New Year and bringing Emily home.
There are now FIVE families whose adoptions are being delayed by one man. We are banding together, encouraging one another, and praying for a resolution to come soon. If need be, we will take action after the holidays by contacting the US Embassy in Kaz. We will cross that bridge when we come to it. Right now, we have submitted the renewed paperwork requested by the court in Taldy and we are awaiting further news from the court processes. Like here in the US, we must wait on the court. It's frustrating, no doubt, but we will wait.
I don't pretend to understand why God is allowing this painful waiting, but I am familiar with waiting and I will continue to have faith. It's not easy. In fact, it goes against all my human instincts to JUST WAIT... but I will do it because I have no choice and that's that.
Well, I have lots to do before all the grandparents arrive, so I best be going!
Thanks again for every kind word posted and emailed to us.
Merry Christmas and all the best in '07~

I came across your blog while searching blogger for other families adopting from Kaz. Seems that there are delays and problems all over right now. I am very sorry to hear about yours. I can't imagine being that close to bringing your little one home and having someone get in the way of that child's happiness like that. I will pray for a happy and speedy outcome to this mess for you. We are in the process of adopting a little boy from Kaz and we're just waiting on the LOI to arrive.
I like the new layout! Any word yet on the law suit?
We are watching, waiting, hoping and praying for you. I think this New Year '07 will be special for you in so many precious ways.
Sincerely,
Matt and Stacey
