Different opinions

Hello again-
This is the best therapy for me dealing with all of this Kaz stuff... just writing about it all.
Last night I said to Chris, "wanna pray for NO SLEEP for the prosecutor?" and he said "no, I'm not really feeling led to pray that way." I was shocked. Why wouldn't you want to pray that he is restless when he is holding this whole thing up? Without going into alot of theological reasoning, (which we don't pretend to know alot about anyway) Chris just didn't want to pray that prayer.
I immediately thought of the post that I just put on the blog, and how Chris would probably think it was weird that I asked others to join me in this prayer. Then there was the whole "feel free to pray for other afflictions as you feel led" comment and I thought- oh no! I hope Chris doesn't read that one!
But the bottom line is this: that man is lost. that man needs jesus. that man is holding this up for who knows what reason/agenda.
However you feel led to pray- IF you feel led to pray- we just ask that you do. We realize that no matter what our opinion about HOW to pray--- the Lord hears our prayers.
Today in church Pastor Sam said "When you give all you have, and it's not enough- that's when God has to come through. That's how God works."
We have given everything, including our hearts, to Emily. Now God gets to come through. We will wait on Him. Pastor Sam also translated Luke 1:37 "For nothing is impossible with God."- "No RHEMA (message) of God is without the power to accomplish it."
You are all aware that we believe very strongly that God has put this message on our hearts to adopt. We have met her, loved her, and planned on bringing her home. Now it's up to God to accomplish it completely (of course, it has always been up to God all along the way, we just had glimpses of self-control sometimes). It's a spiritual journey that keeps surprising us.
Anyway, I wanted to update the blog so you all know that the PRAYING is what matters. Far be it from me to suggest HOW to pray.
Thank you- and Merry Christmas!
Carrie
